How can I set the time to live for queued messages?

The time to live is the time during which a message is queued in the gateway when it can not be delivered to the receiver system. During this time, the gateway retries to deliver the message every 3 minutes.

To set a time to live, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app B2B Directory.

  2. Open the menu item Cloudlinks > Own Cloudlinks.

  3. Select the desired cloudlink for which you want to set the time to live and click Edit.

  4. In the section Parameters, enter the preferred time in the field Time to live (minutes).

Information: The time to live needs to be between 10 and 14400 minutes. 14400 minutes equal 10 days. If you set no time, the default time of 5760 minutes which equals 4 days is automatically set.
  5. Click OK.

Information: After the configured time to live has expired, the status of the queued messages changes to Expired. Expired messages will not be delivered to the receiver system, once the connection works successfully.
