Creating new B2B Directory entries

Creating new B2B Directory entries

At least one entry is necessary to create cloudlinks and agreements in the app B2B Directory. The entry includes the identifying information for your organization or organization unit.

Note: Each B2B Directory entry requires a unique identifier. It is not possible to use 2 entries with the same identifier.

To create a new B2B Directory entry, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app B2B Directory.

  2. Go to B2B Directory > My Entries and click New.

  3. Enter the name for your entry.

Note: This name will be visible to all routing partners, unless you configure a private entry (see step 4). We recommend to provide a name under which other routing partners can easily find you.
  4. Set a check mark in the field Private if you want your entry to be only visible within your organization.

Note: When using a private entry, it is not possible to create EDI connections with routing partners outside your organization.
  5. Set a check mark in the field Automatically approve incoming agreements if you want every agreement for an EDI connection to be approved and activated automatically. You will be informed about automatically approved agreements via email if you provide an email adress in step 11.

  6. In the field Type ,you can select the type of the identifier you will be using in your EDI messages.

Information: If you will be using this entry for content-based routing, this step is mandatory.
  7. In the field Identifier, enter an identifier value corresponding to your selected identifier type in step 6.

  8. In the field Description, you can enter a description for the identifier.

  9. In the section Visible for, select the organization unit whose users should be allowed to:

    • Monitor all messages sent from or to this B2B Directory entry.
    • View all cloudlinks, agreements and settings belonging to this B2B Directory entry.
Information: The organization unit STANDARD contains all users of the company. It is always selectable per default.
Note: The messages can be monitored via the app B2B Routing. Only users of the selected organization unit have access to the monitoring of these messages. To access the app B2B Routing, users need to be assigned the access right Monitoring User (B2B Routing) for the service Communication Service, B2B/EDI Full Service in the app Administration.
  1. In the section Address, you can enter your address details.

  2. In the section E-Mail Notifications, you can enter one or multiple email addresses to which an email will be sent in case of changes or errors:

    • Enter one or multiple email addresses in the field Agreement changes if you want to receive notifications whenever changes, such as automatic approvement or status changes, to one of your agreements for this entry have been made.
Note: Multiple email addresses must be separated by a semicolon.
    • Enter one or multiple email addresses in the field Message Errors if you want to receive notifications whenever an error ocurred during the sending or receiving of messages for one of your cloudlinks for this entry.
