The MapTable Manager is part of your BIS system. The MapTable Manager is an app for creating, editing and managing map tables in the iPaaS system. Map tables are used for simple mappings (for example mappings between customer article numbers and supplier article numbers) in addition to complex mappings of the BIC Mapping Designer. These simple mappings are not part of the mapping code which means they can also be created by non-developers.
Note: If you want to locally test the mappings that use map tables, you need to export these map tables from the MapTable Manager and import the map tables (map files) in the BIC Mapping Designer. That means, you cannot access the map tables in the iPaaS system from the BIC Mapping Designer directly. |
You can access the MapTable Manager app in your BIS Portal if you have the corresponding access rights for this app.
The key user and the UMS administrator are assigned access rights and permissions needed for creating, editing or viewing map tables by default. All permissions are described in the user manual.
The rights for further users are assigned either in the User Management Service (UMS), or in your company portal if you are using SAML.
