Deleting users

Note: We strongly advise that you delete inactive users and users who have left your company. Deleting inactive and no longer existing users keeps your data clean and increases security.

Note: As an app manager, you can delete only those users that you have invited yourself.

To delete a user as administrator or app manager, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app Administration.

  2. Open the menu item User Management > Users.

  3. Select the corresponding user from the list.

  4. Click Delete.

  5. Confirm with Yes that you really want to delete this user.

The user is deleted. Depending on the app, the actions the user was involved in will either continue to display the user‘s name or the name will be replaced with "Deleted user".

Note: If the user is still involved in actions in another app, the user cannot be deleted. The administrator or app manager is informed in a message which app is affected and can then complete the actions or assign them to another user.
