Depending on your operating system, there are several options to find out your BIS version:
option 1 for Windows users
option 2 for Windows users
option 3 for Windows users
for Linux users

Note: In order to find out your BIS version, you first need to know where your BIS is installed. |
Open the File Explorer.
Navigate to your BIS folder.
Navigate to the software folder.
Click the version.cmd.
Scroll down until you see a small table. You can see your BIS version here.
You can close the command line window now.
Note: If option 1 does not work, please try option 2. |

Navigate to the spm-repository folder.
Open the released.txt file with an editor.
You can find your version where it says Version.

Navigate to your BIS folder.
Navigate to the bin folder.
Click the client.bat.
In the command line window, write version-history.
Click the enter key on your keyboard.
The displayed table in the command line shows which BIS version you have.
Write shell:logout.
Clickthe enter key on your keyboard to close the prompt.
You can close the command line now.

Execute /opt/seeburger/bis/bin/client.sh.If the client is not found, try a different command: /opt/seeburger/bis/software/version.sh.
You can find your version where it says Version, under Installation Information.
