Initial project

Initial project

After signing the iPaaS contract, two projects will be started: a consulting project which requires a separate agreement, and a system provisioning project. In the consulting project, all details of your iPaaS system are discussed and documented. In the system provisioning project, the iPaaS system is being provided and a network connection between your datacenter and the SEEBURGER datacenter is established. The two projects may be executed in parallel.

You will get a welcome email, and will later on be informed about the start of the system provisioning and the system being ready in further emails. Also, there will be a project manager assigned for you. At the end of the projects, at the go-live, your system is ready to use and all functions, like monitoring, are active and running.

A kickoff workshop is part of the initial project. There, you will for example discuss and agree on a communication matrix (RACI matrix) or evaluate how the communication between you and SEEBURGER should look like, where your service manager can assist you and so on.

In general, an iPaaS project looks like this:

After the planning and preparation phase, you will take training courses when necessary and get to know the SEEBURGER iPaaS system, the roles and responsibilities. Then SEEBURGER will implement some integrations as agreed in the planning phase and you will watch and learn. After that, this will be done in reverse, so that you will execute the projects and SEEBURGER will assist you. At the end, you will take over responsibility and manage your iPaaS integrations independently. This is the new business as usual.

From this moment, the involvement of SEEBURGER will be on request. The team, and especially your service manager, will still be available to support you when you have questions or additional resources are required.

To go live, you need to inform SEEBURGER about the planned date of the first productive message via a change request. Such change request is free of charge but has to follow the change request procedure for standard changes.

> Making a change request

SEEBURGER will verify and activate the productive operation of your iPaaS service. SEEBURGER will confirm the productive operation in written form, and from the date of this confirmation operate the service with the agreed Service Level Agreements.

Together with this information, SEEBURGER needs an email address from you (we strongly recommend a system/group email address and not a single person). For this email address, SEEBURGER operations team will activate the process monitoring. All process related errors will from this time on be sent to this email address.
