How can I change an expired certificate?

Certificates are included in your configured cloudlinks. In the menu item Cloudlinks > Own Cloudlinks, you can check the current state of the included certificates in the column Certificate(s) for each cloudlink.

Warning: For cloudlinks with expired certificates, it is possible that receiving messages or sending them to the SEEBURGER Cloud is available only to a limited extent.

To change an expired certificate, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app B2B Directory.

  2. Open the menu item Cloudlinks > Own Cloudlinks.

  3. Select the cloudlink for which one or more certificates have expired and click Edit.

Information: In the column Certificate(s), you can see if one of your certificates has the status Expires shortly or Expired/Missing.
  4. Open the tab Certificates.

  5. Click Upload New Certificate.

Note: Not all certificates have to be changed. Please change only certificates which will expire soon or have already expired. In the column Valid to, you can see the expiration date of each certificate.
  6. Select the Certificate Usage.

  7. Click Upload to select the new certificate.

  8. In the field Use from, the validity start date is automatically displayed. You can edit the displayed date if you want to postpone the activation of the new certificate.

  9. Click OK.

The new certificate will be added.
  10. Click OK.

The status of your certificates displayed in the column Certificate(s) changes to Valid.

Information: We recommend to test the uploaded certificates by sending a message to one of your routing partners. You can monitor the status of your message in the app B2B Routing.
