Why do I get an error message when opening the license?

If opening the license causes an error message, it may be that you do not have a program installed on your computer to open files with the ".lc" extension.

Please note that it is not necessary to open the license file to activate the license. To activate the license file, it must be imported into the app BIS Landscape Manager or Web Installer.

You can check details about your license in the BIS License Manager. It is also not necessary to open the license file for this purpose.
