Process mappings are not deployed on the production environment via MTP. Process mappings created with the BIS Mapping Designer are deployed via the Deployment Manager.

Process mappings created with the BIC Mapping Designer are deployed via Configuration > Converter > Mapping management in the BIS Front End.
For deploying partner mappings on the production environment, we recommend to use the MTP tool because versioning the mappings is easier this way compared to using the Deployment Manager.
Note: You can only update partner mappings the same way you have initially deployed them on the production environment. That means, if you have deployed the mappings via MTP, you can only update them via MTP. |
