The data exchange via the Peppol network is based on the 4-corner model. In the following picture, you can see the sender, the recipient, and their access points:
A Peppol document is sent from your own system to the Peppol Access Point, transferred to the access point of the recipient and then sent to the system of the recipient. You will receive a technical confirmation when a message has been successfully transferred to the Peppol network which generally corresponds to a successful delivery to the recipient. The Peppol Access Point ensures the connection to all other access points within the Peppol network. Within this network, all recipients are registered, so their Peppol ID, permitted document profiles and processes as well as their access point provider can be identified.
A successful data exchange includes:
The document to be exchanged embedded in an SBDH document (envelope)
The Peppol ID of the sender and the receiver
Defined document profiles and processes on recipient‘s side
You can track the transfer of each message in the app B2B Routing.
If your system cannot receive MLRs yet, you can view the XML files in the app B2B Routing.
