Message Level Response (MLR)

Message Level Response (MLR)

The MLR is a message format that is transmitted via the Peppol network. An MLR is sent by the recipient of a document - such as an invoice - as a response to the original sender of this document. The MLR is usually used to transmit validation information to the original sender. For example, if the validation of the sent document fails on the receiving side and the document cannot be accepted, the original sender can be informed of the reason for the failed document reception using the validation information.
