Document profiles are required for receiving messages via the Peppol network. A document profile consists of a document identifier and a process profile. The document identifier indicates which documents can be exchanged, the process profile indicates which process should be used during the transfer of a message. As there is only one correct process profile for most document IDs, the app PEPPOL will preselect the correct one for you in order to keep your efforts as low as possible.
Peppol has provided a number of document profiles which can be used. These document profiles can be found in the app PEPPOL and on the official Peppol website.
Document profiles need to be added in the app PEPPOL for all Peppol IDs which are configured for receiving messages.
