Internet connection setup

The SEEBURGER systems own their IP addresses from the private ranges, which are translated to public IP addresses via NAT, and only the public IP addresses are visible when traffic arrives at your end.

When a connection from a SEEBURGER system to your system is required, you have to provide a public IP address behind which your system is translated via NAT, and a respective port on which your system is accessible.

The outgoing and incoming traffic is regulated via the SEEBURGER firewall and needs to be allowed via a change request.
