Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is based on the principle of double security verification and has been incredibly effective in automated attacks. It combines two different authentication factors to ensure that only authorized users can access their user account. The log in is only successful if both factors are entered correctly.

At SEEBURGER, the first factor is your regular password, that you use together with your user name to log into your account. The second factor is a temporary authentication code that will be randomly generated after you entered your password in the login screen and sent to you via email.

An authentication code is valid only for a certain amount of time and can only be used once.
