App manager feature

To be able to define separate responsible persons for individual areas of a company, administrators can assign the rights of an app manager to users. App managers are thus only responsible for individual apps/services in the SEEBURGERCustomer Portal, and not for managing their entire company, as is the case with administrators.

The permissions of an app manager include the following tasks:

Task

Description

Inviting users to the SEEBURGERCustomer Portal

via email address and without assigning a reference user

Resending invitations to users

users that have been invited by the app manager

Assigning services to users (User Management or Service Access)

services the app manager is responsible for

Deleting users

users that have been invited by the app manager

Checking the access overview (Service Access)

services the app manager is responsible for

Confirming or rejecting Cloud Shop requests

services the app manager is responsible for

Sending feedback to Cloud Shop requests

services the app manager is responsible for

Checking completed Cloud Shop requests

services the app manager is responsible for

If an administrator removes the permissions for an app/service from an app manager, then that user will no longer see open requests for that app/service. All other app managers for that app/service can still see the open requests.

If an administrator removes the permissions for an app/service from all app managers, then these users will no longer see any open requests for this app/service. Only the administrator can then see and edit these open requests.

In the overview of the menu item User Management > Users, in the column Managed Apps, it is displayed for which apps/services a user is responsible as an app manager. On the other hand, you can see who is responsible for an app/a service as app manager in the menu item Company Management > Services.

An administrator can specify not to be informed via email or system notification about the actions of app managers. By default, receiving these messages is enabled, i.e. the administrator is automatically notified about each action of an app manager.
